Who is the Hansen-Tyler Team?
We're a San Diego-based mortgage team and a branch of CrossCountry Mortgage. We help families and homebuyers with purchase, refinance, VA, jumbo, and non-QM loans, with in-house processing, underwriting, and closing.
What is a non-QM loan?
A non-QM loan is a mortgage that doesn't follow standard qualified mortgage guidelines. It can be a fit for self-employed borrowers, investors, and others whose income doesn't fit a standard checklist. Eligibility and terms vary, so talk with our team about your situation.
How is a jumbo loan different?
A jumbo loan is a mortgage for amounts above the conforming loan limits. Jumbo loans often come with different documentation and reserve requirements, so it helps to review your options early.
Who can use a VA loan?
VA loans are available to eligible Veterans, active-duty military, and retired military. A Certificate of Eligibility is required, and our team can help you with the process.
Can you help if I'm buying outside San Diego?
Often, yes. Our team is licensed in 12 states, and our parent company, CrossCountry Mortgage, can lend in all 50 states. Availability depends on the property location and loan type, so contact us to confirm.
