Garrett Tyler is Vice President of Residential Lending and a team leader with the Hansen-Tyler Team at CrossCountry Mortgage. With more than a decade of mortgage experience and over $375 million in personally funded loan volume, Garrett has built a reputation for deep industry knowledge, strong leadership, and an ability to make even complex financing situations feel clear and manageable.
His roles with the team have included loan officer and Sales Manager before stepping into his current leadership position. Today, he helps guide the Hansen-Tyler Team while continuing to originate loans personally. That hands-on involvement keeps him closely connected to the needs of buyers, homeowners, and real estate partners, and it allows him to bring both a strategic and practical perspective to every transaction.
Garrett’s background in Business Finance and Business Operations Management gives him a strong foundation for structuring smart lending solutions and helping clients understand how their mortgage fits into the bigger financial picture. Whether he is working with a first-time buyer, an experienced homeowner, a jumbo borrower, or someone with a more complex scenario, Garrett is known for being responsive, thorough, and fully invested in helping his clients succeed.
He is equally passionate about building a strong team and creating a high level of service from the first conversation through closing and beyond. Clients and partners value his calm approach, attention to detail, and ability to find solutions when others might only see obstacles.
Outside of work, Garrett is a proud girl dad to two young daughters. Being a father has given him an even greater appreciation for what home means to a family and adds a personal perspective to the care and commitment he brings to every client.
